The prep boys regional semifinals will be tonight. In 2a tonight the Salem Wildcats will open up their post season with a trip to Pana to take on Vandalia starting at 7:30 on WJBD. The first game of the night features top-seed Pana taking on Litchfield. The winners will play Friday for a trip to Sectionals next week.
Also tonight in 2a at DuQuoin, Nashville plays Red Bud followed by Pinckneyville and DuQuoin. At Robinson, Mt Carmel plays Flora followed by Robinson and Fairfield. At Wesclin, Breese Central and Althoff play at 6 followed by Mater Dei and Columbia.
In 1a at Dieterich, Altamont takes on the hosts followed at 7:30 by South Central and Cisne. The Cougars nipped the Lions by a point earlier this season at South Central. At Patoka, St Anthony takes on Christ Our Rock at 6 followed by Carlyle and Nokomis.
In 3a regionals today at Centralia, the host Orphans take on Waterloo at 6pm followed by Mount Vernon and Herrin at 7:30. At Olney, the Tigers play Effingham followed by Mascoutah and Marion.
And in 4a regionals at Granite City, Collinsville plays Belleville West followed by Granite City and Belleville East.
