In prep girls basketball regional championship on Saturday in 1a, Neoga knocked off Altamont 48-32.
The girls sectionals will open up tomorrow. In 1a at Bunker Hill, Carlyle will take on Jacksonville Routt followed by Okawville and Hardin Calhoun. Woodlawn plays Goreville at Sesser and St Anthony plays Hume Shiloh at Tuscola.
In 2a sectionals tomorrow at Monticello, TTown will play Paris and at Nashville it’s Carterville and Nashville followed by Mater Dei and Benton.
In 3a sectionals Tuesday, Mount Vernon takes on Civic Memorial in Bethalto.
In 4a regional finals on Saturday, O’Fallon beat Collinsville 56-21. They advance to the Joliet Central sectional tomorrow to play Edwardsville.
