The KC Blue Devils dropped a tight contest to SWIC 61-59. Jylen Petty had 15 in the loss, Trae Jones added 14 and Emanuel Prospere finished with 11. The Blue Devils are 15-9 overall and 6-9 in the Region. They will host 3rd ranked John A Logan on Wednesday.
John A Logan improved to 22-2 overall and 10-1 in the GRAC with a 100-83 win over Lake Land College.
The KC women finished the sweep of SWIC on the season with their 81-69 win last night. Casandra Sams led KC with 17, Jaya Hedgepeth 15, Nyah Ford 14 and 12 each from Jaelyn Thomas and Shaniah Nunn. The Angels are 11-10 overall, 5-5 in the GRAC and 5-7 in the Region. They will also host John A Logan on Wednesday with the 5pm tip.
