NWIGP JV Indian Eagles end the regular season with a 37-16 win over the Bethel/ McCllean/MTV St. Mary Bulldogs. The JV Indian Eagles finish the regular season 10-8.
In the Varsity game another unfortunate blow to the Indian Eagles as Starting forward Azlynn Witthaus-Strait rolled her ankle in the 2nd qtr and was unable to continue in the game. The Indian Eagles battled hard to get back in the game but just couldn’t get over the hump and ended up falling 71-56 to the Bulldogs. Mt. Vernon St. Marys 8th grader Eli Probst recorded his 1000th career points and finished with 26 points. However it was Indian Eagle 8th grader Devin Konhorst in his final regular season game leading all scorers with a new career high 44 points in the loss. The Indian Eagles finish the regular season 13-11 and will play in the regional semi-final Wednesday at Field Grade School vs. The Field Panthers at 7:30.
