The Franklin Park Lady Bobcats will be in action today at the Class L State Tournament at Rend Lake College. They will play at 1:15 against Carmi. The winner will advance to Tuesday ‘s semifinal while the loser will be done. The first game of the day in Class L is Harrisburg and Waterloo at 9:30, Carterville and O’Fallon Fulton at 10:45 and Hamilton County and Wolfe Branch at 12.
After Franklin Park, the Selmaville Lady Rockets will open up the Class S State Tournament at 2:30 against Jonesboro. Both Salem and Selmaville games will be on Q92. The winner plays in Thursday’s semifinals against either Trinity St John Nashville or St Rose Elementary who play at 3:45 today followed by Century and New Hope and then Okawville and Summersville.
The Class M Tournament opened up last night with O’Fallon St Clare beating Vienna 31-25, Anna over Christopher 29-19, Aviston beat Smithton 38-33 and Nashville routed Pinckneyville 52-24. The semifinals are Monday at 6 and 7:30.
