The Franklin Park Bobcats won their 3rd place game at the Greenville Tournament holding off Aviston 37-34. Salem had a double digit lead in the 3rd quarter, but Aviston got hot and shot well through Salem’s 1-3-1 zone to give the Class S team a chance late.
Trey Clark came off the bench to lead Salem with 10, Ryegan Warren and Angel Sagado added 8. Eli Lograsso stepped to the line late in the game and made 2 big free throws that pushed Salem’s lead to 3.
Franklin Park will play at Breese and then host Flora next week before opening up regionals the following week at home.
