The schools are back in session and the basketball season will resume for the Salem Wildcats tomorrow night. Salem will take their 8-7 record to Mt Vernon to take on the Rams tomorrow before heading to Roxana for Cahokia play on Friday. The Cats are coming off a consolation championship at the Duster Thomas Hoops Classic while the Rams finished 4th with a very hard draw at the Centralia Holiday Tournament and feature CHT MVP NJ Benson.

The Lady Cats struggled at the Benton Christmas Tournament going 0-3 to fall to 3-11 on the season with a pair of games this week. Salem will host Roxana on Thursday night and then host Olney on Saturday afternoon.
