Carolyn Sue Martin, 71, of Centralia, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021, at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia.
She was born April 13, 1950, in Centralia, the daughter of Kenneth Lambert and Alvera (Roethemeyer) Lambert. She married Gary Martin on November 21, 1967, and he preceded her in death on December 31, 2016.
Sue is survived by two daughters: Sandra Sue Davis and Wesley of Centralia and Tracie Feig and husband Chris of Centralia; five grandchildren: Jordan Feig and wife Taylor of Collinsville, Jessica Feig and Lucas Deimeke of Centralia, Daniel Davis and Tiffany Brake of Centralia, Bethany Davis of Centralia, and Emily Terry and husband Josh of Alabama; one great-grandson: Tristen Davis; brothers and sisters: Kathy Smith and husband Norman, Marsha Lambert Cook, Jeff Lambert all of Centralia, Audrey Lambert Durall of Odin, Mark Lambert of Belleville; brother-in-law: William Harris of Centralia; sister-in-law: Georgia Lambert of Centralia; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a great-granddaughter: Evangeline Davis, and 2 sisters: Crystal Harris and Brenda Atchison.
Sue worked at Little Fuse for many years and later worked at Salem Walmart. She was a former member of the Centralia Moose Lodge. Sue and her husband Gary enjoyed spending time with the Vendettas M.C. She was an avid Chicago Cub Fan. Sue also enjoyed crafting, gardening, and playing BINGO. Sue cherished the time she spent with her daughters, grandchildren, fur baby: Charlie, family, and friends.
Funeral Services for Sue Martin will be held Friday, January 7, 2021 at11:00 AM at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia with Pastor Seth Baltzell officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 6, 2021, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
