Area businesses, churches, organizations, and individuals came through again this year to make the BCMW-WJBD Radio Adopt a Family program a success in helping the less fortunate.
There were 194 families representing 532 children that asked for assistance this year.
The need was met with 64 individuals, families, churches, and organizations adopting families this year. In addition, over $24,000 in monetary donations were made to shop for the children and families not adopted out. Once again this year, toys were collected in three toy drives to support the program.
The Social Service Agency BCMW and WJBD-WSIQ Radio thank everyone for their kindness during the holiday season.
