It’s now official. Ross Boshera will take off the interim title and become the Fire Chief of the Centralia Fire Protection District effective January 1st.
The district held a promotional ceremony Tuesday night.
Boshera said he will work to continue to move the department forward, noting it is a pretty good operation now.
Boshera will maintain his present job outside the fire service with his promotion. He replaces Greg Earle who retired earlier this fall.
Other promotions include Dusty Garren to Assistant Chief, Tim Hilton to Battalion Chief, Doug Long to Captain, and Billy Baird to Lieutenant.
