2021 12/19 – Rosemary Faulkner

Rosemary Faulkner, 83, of Waltonville, Illinois, passed away at 2:55 am December 15, 2021 at her residence. Rosemary always had a kind word and a level head with advice when she sensed you needed it. She was a hard working woman, faithful to her family, and giving to anyone in need. She never let family walk away without telling you she loved you. Rosemary was a member of the Long Prairie Christian Church. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

A Visitation will be held Sunday, December 19, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm at Newell Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Funeral Service will begin at 1:30 pm with Pastor Michael Campbell officiating. Interment will follow at Rightnowar Cemetery in Waltonville. Rosemary is survived by her daughters, Tammy Jeffries and husband, Mike of Sesser, Illinois, Rhonda Wiegel and husband, Chris of Texico, Illinois, and Misty Faulkner and partner, Charles Ebert of Ashley, Illinois; grandchildren, Christin Mack and husband, David, Sean Wiegel and wife, Shannon (Richardson) Wiegel, James Wiegel, and Michael Jeffries and wife, Chelsie; great-grandchildren, Ayden Mack, Orion Jeffries, Henry Jeffries, and Emmit Jeffries; sisters-in-law, Karen Bean, Carolyn Nickels, and Rosalie Faulkner; and several nieces and nephews.

She was born August 12, 1938 in Waltonville to the late Adam Alexander and Mary Ann (Osborn) Bean. Rosemary married James Leslie Faulkner on October 8, 1960 at Marco Church. He preceded her in death on March 7, 2005. In addition to her husband and parents, Rosemary was preceded in death by her siblings, Betty Knox, Sylvia Shelton, and George Bean.
