Two Centralia residents were arrested early Thursday morning for possession of a stolen vehicle.

26-year-old Matthew Woods of South Maple and 26-year-old Myra Gallatin of Myers Road were taken into custody inside a shed near where the alleged stolen vehicle was parked in Sandoval.

Marion County Sheriff’s officials say a Sandoval officer noticed the vehicle. After further checks to make sure it was stolen vehicle, deputies were able to take the two into custody without incident. Some items belonging to the two were allegedly found in the vehicle.

The vehicle was reported missing from a residence on the 3300 block of Selmaville Road southwest of Salem late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning.
