Glen Edward Faulkner, 63, of Centralia, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021, in St. Louis, MO.
Glen was born in DePaul Hospital in St. Louis, MO, the son of Hubert Duane Faulkner and Barbara Ann (Needham) Faulkner Sloat.
Glen is survived by two sons: Zachary Adam of Peoria and Tristen Blane of Centralia and his mother Deanna Rivera who was a special friend of Glen’s; two brothers: Norman Faulkner and wife Cathy of Centralia and David Faulkner of Centralia; two sisters: Lori Buehler and husband Mitch of Centralia and Christy Sloat and special friend Troy Carter of Centralia; one stepmother: Patricia Faulkner Edwards of St. Louis, MO; nieces and nephews: Josh Faulkner, Dylan Faulkner, Brian Donoho, Ashley Donoho, Amy Wyant, Jodi Wooters, Travis Wooters, Zack Wooters, Dustin Wooters, and Jacob Wooters; numerous great-nieces and nephews; one uncle: Wil Sommers; one aunt Sharon Cresta and husband Dan; and several cousins.
Glen was preceded in death by his parents Hubert Faulkner and Barbara Sloat; one sister: Sherry and husband Gary “Jug” Jarman; and one aunt Lola Sommers.
Glen was a character and a jack of many trades. He was good at restoring furniture. He was fluent in German and sarcasm. He enjoyed photography and using his metal detector. Glen was a Constitutionalist and a proud Republican. He will be dearly missed by those who knew him.
A memorial service for Glen Faulkner will be held on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia with Pastor Steve Upchurch officiating.
