2021 12/04 – Ethel Lorene Morrow

Ethel Lorene Morrow, age 102 of Kinmundy, passed away on November 24, 2021, at Fayette County Hospital in Vandalia.

Lorene was born on August 27, 1919, in Kinmundy the daughter of Masel and Verna (Hickox) Brown.  She married Ralph Morrow in 1941 and he preceded her in death in June of 1950.

She is survived by one daughter, Paulette Bray and husband Junior of Farina; son-in-law, Denny Osborne of Alma; grandson, Jason Bray and Tanya of Farina; granddaughter, Linda Osborne of Alma; great-grandsons, Haden Bray and Hailey and Landan Bray and Kristen; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one daughter, Colleen Osborne; sister, Leola Woodward and husband Wayne; and one brother, Otis Brown.

Lorene was of the Christian Faith.  She was an excellent cook, enjoyed putting out a garden, and loved spending time with her family.  She worked for Brown Produce for 26 ½ years and was a devoted caretaker to her mother for many years.

Private Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem.  Burial will be in 1880 Lovells Grove Cemetery in Omega.  Memorial contributions can be made to the 1880 Lovells Grove Cemetery and can be left at Crouse Funeral Home who is assisting the family with arrangements.  Online condolences can be left at www.CrouseFH.com or on the funeral home’s Facebook page.
