Post season is today in high school cross country as Salem will run at the Robinson 1a Regional. They will be joined along with Altamont, Casey, Dieterich, St Anthony, Fairfield, Flora, Grayville, Hutsonville, Lawrenceville, North Clay, Marshall, Mt Carmel, Newton, Odin, Robinson, TTown and Cumberland. The top teams and individuals will advance to the Decatur St Teresa Sectional next Saturday along with qualifiers from Tuscola and Chrisman.
Feeding into the 1a Wesclin Sectional will be the Althoff Regional featuring Cahokia teams Columbia, Freeburg, Roxana, Wood River. The Benton Regional will feature Breese Central, Meter Dei, Christ Our Rock and Wesclin. Carterville is the other Regional that will feed into Wesclin.
In 2a, Centralia will run at the Highland Regional t the Alhambra Fireman & Legion Park. The qualifying teams from there, Olney – which includes the Mt Vernon Rams, as well as Jacksonville Regional will advance to the Decatur MacArthur Sectional next weekend.
