Rhonda Marie Smith, 58, of Centralia passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021 in SSM St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia. Rhonda was of the Baptist Faith. She worked for Murray Center for over 20 years. Rhonda was a talented seamstress, where she inspired to be a fashion designer. Her family was her world. She was very supportive of her children in theatre events, art competitions, and hip-hop dance team. Her grandkids meant the world to her, being their biggest supporter. She was known for her craft making and selling as a vendor. Most of all, Rhonda was very talented, had a big heart for her family, and she cherished the time she spent with her family.
Funeral Services for Rhonda Smith will be held Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 12:00 pm at Eternity Baptist Church in Centralia with Pastor Ron Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Centralia. Visiting hours will be held from 10:00 am to the time of service at Eternity Baptist Church on Saturday morning. Rhonda is survived by three sons: Brandon Smith of Centralia, DeAndre Williams and wife Nichelle of Centralia, and Jestin Taylor of Centralia; one daughter: Mia Williams of Centralia; four grandchildren: Kayan Pinner, Jazzlyne Pinner, DeAndre Williams, Jr. and Jayda Williams; one brother: Udell Smith, Jr. of Chicago, IL; two sisters: Sonya Smith of Lithonia, GA and Tiffany Hudson of Tulsa, OK; and many nieces and nephews.
Rhonda was born September 3, 1963 in Muskogee, OK, the daughter of Udell Smith Sr. and Patsy (Briscoe) Smith. Rhonda was preceded in death by parents: Udell Smith Sr. and Patsy Smith.
