Ellsworth D. Emery, 93, of Centralia passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at Fireside House in Centralia. Mr. Emery was a proud United States Navy veteran. He attended the church of Christ in Centralia. He was a loyal employee of the BN Railroad working as an engineer for 44 years, until his retirement. He was a lifelong member of the NRA, and a member of the Belted Galloway Society. He enjoyed working the land as a farmer. He liked to take long walks in the woods, finding rest in nature. Ellsworth was a honest, hardworking man that will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at the Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia. He married Villa Mae Moore on October 7, 1963, in Alabama and she survives in Centralia. Along with his wife Villa Emery, survivors include his devoted family, sons Scott Emery of Centralia, and Dane Emery of Centralia; and several nieces and nephews.
He was born on September 24, 1928, the son of Dennis and Artie (Gambill) Emery in Centralia. Mr. Emery was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Genevieve Weaver, and Ozelma Miller; and brother Joseph Emery.
