Wanda Ione Eberly, age 75 of Salem, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at Doctors Nursing Home in Salem.
Wanda was born in Sterling, Illinois the daughter of Wilma Aument. She married Francis ‘Ranger’ Eberly on June 25, 1982, at First Christian Church and he survives in Salem.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Tim Tucker and fiance Cindy Sloat of Salem; step-children, Dale Tucker of Odin, Marsha Bard and husband David of Indiana, Lisa Tucker of Olney, Bonnie Firebaugh and husband Mark of Salem, Jerry Eberly and wife Debbie of Warren, Teresa Dalton of Fulton, Loretta Eberly-Sukut of Shannon, and Corina Marie Wiegmann of Lena; one brother, Jeff Aument of Minnesota; 20 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one granddaughter, Amber.
Wanda was of the Baptist Faith. She most recently worked for Addus HomeCare and had previously worked at Salem Township Hospital in the dietary department, World Color Press/Salem Gravure, Brown Shoe Company, and the Chuck Wagon Restaurant. She was a member of the Salvation Army many years ago and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. More than anything, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Funeral services for Wanda Ione Eberly will be held at 11:00 am on Monday at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem with Dr. Andy Dewitt officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at the funeral home. Private interment will be held at East Lawn Cemetery.
