Paul Del Bapties, 64, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 1:45 am September 11, 2021, at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon. He was born March 25, 1957, in Monterey Park, California to Paul Lester and Elizabeth Ann (Winemiller) Bapties.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, grandparents, and several aunt, uncles, and cousins. Paul is survived by his aunt, Sue Williams, aunt, Kay Mathus and husband, Dale, and several cousins.
Paul loved going to the movies and watching t.v. Before his illness, he enjoyed going to comp services and going on outings with his friends there. He was an avid reader and especially like to read sci-fi and anything about space. Paul will be sadly missed by his aunts, cousins, and all who knew him.
