Police Beat for Friday, September 3rd, 2021

Sandoval Police have arrested two men for theft of a dump trailer that was reported missing Thursday afternoon from the 200 block of North Main Street.   27-year-old Caleb Forby of Benton and 34-year-old Ryan Harris of West Frankfort were taken into custody in Sandoval while the stolen trailer was reportedly found in McLeansboro.  Forby was also charged with possession of meth.

A 38-year-old Centralia woman has been arrested for possession of methamphetamine, violation of an order of protection, and theft.  Centralia Police stopped Princess Leake of North Locust while she was walking because they knew she was wanted as a person of interest in a pending theft and violation of an order of protection case.  A charge of possession of meth was added after she was allegedly found in possession of meth.

38-year-old Matthew Roberts of McLeansboro was arrested by Centralia Police for alleged possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.

35-year-old David Huffine of East Church in Salem was arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies on an outstanding Marion County felony failure to appear warrant on a pending felony resisting a peace officer charge.
