The Salem Lady Bobcats fell to TTown in softball 14-6. Mya Russell was 2-3 with 2 runs and an RBI, Jaelyn Keller had 2 hits with an RBI and run scored with Marah Johnson adding a double with 2 RBI.
SC knocked off CHBC 15-0 outhitting them 14-0. Maddie Peddicord was the no-hit winning pitcher for SC. At the plate, Reid, Thompson and Swift drove in 2 runs each with Rose and Feldhake drove in 3 runs. SC is 13-3 overall and finishes the NTC at 6-0 and regular season conference champions. SC travels to Vandalia today.
Willow Grove/ St. Mary’s Centralia defeated Central City 9-1. Emrie Quick pitched 5 innings giving up 1 run on 4 hits while striking out 12 in the win. Quick led the offense with 2 hits while scoring 3 times, Mackenzie Perez added 2 hits with 3 runs and 2 rbis, Reese Koester had 2 hits with a double and 4 rbis, Abby Draper also had a pair of hits with 1 rbi, and Raylyn Parker scored twice. The Wildcards are off until next Wednesday at home vs. Odin.
Raccoon lady devils lost to trinity Lutheran 7 to 0. For Trinity Lutheran Hannah McKinney went 7 innings giving up 3 hits and striking out 16. She went 4 for 4 at the plate with a home run. Newhaus went 2 for 4 with a double and Kleiboeker and Schoenberg both had hits. For the Raccoon Bria Murray went 7 innings giving up 7 hits with 9 strikeouts. Kaylee Bowdler went 2 for 4 at the plate with 2 singles and Maya Braddy added a hit.
