Police Beat for Saturday, August 28th, 2021

The Marion County Sheriff’s Department has made a second arrest in connection with a burglary to an unoccupied home on Red Stripe Road in rural Odin.   Mallory Seals of North Broadway in Sandoval was located in Odin and taken to the Marion County Jail pending a decision on the filing of formal charges.

34-year-old Beau Morton of Morton Lane in Kell was arrested by Salem Police on new charges of unlawful possession of a credit card and felony criminal damage to property as well as by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies on an outstanding Washington County traffic warrant.   Morton was taken to the Marion County Jail.

Salem Police arrested 32-year-old Shanna Lux of South College in Salem at the request of Centralia Police for intimation of a witness.   She is also being held in the Marion County Jail.

Two others remain in custody following arrest by Salem Police on outstanding warrants.  37-year-old Robert Garney of Selmaville Road in Salem was arrested on an outstanding Marion County felony failure to appear warrant in a pending possession of methamphetamine case and an outstanding Cumberland County warrant.  Bond totals $8,500.   31-year-old Jerrad Middleton of England Road in Salem was arrested on a felony warrant for a petition to revoke his probation for felony criminal trespass to a residence.  Middleton is being held in lieu of $25,000 bond.

33-year-old Jody Wooters of Perrine Street n Centralia posted $250 bond and was released after being arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies on an outstanding Marion County traffic warrant.
