The Lady Bobcats right back at it today at home against Vandalia coming off a 16-6 win over Aviston yesterday. Marah Johnson was the winning pitcher with 4 strikeouts and drove in 3 runs at the plate. Willow Amburgey scored 3 runs, Kendall Zimmermann had her first varsity hit and scored twice with Maya Russell going 3-3 with 2 runs scored.
South Central knocked off Sandoval 17-1. Emily Rose tossed a one-hitter in the win as SC improved to 9-2 overall. She also added a home run, double and drove in five. Kinlee Thompson drove home 3 along with Amelia Montes, Maddie Peddicord and Brianna Buchanan added 2.
Willow Grove/ St Mary’s Centralia defeated Selmaville 14-1, Emrie Quick pitched 2 innings with 5 strikeouts for the win. Raylyn Parker saw her first junior high varsity time on the rubber pitching an inning with 1 strikeout. Quick led the offense going 2-3 with 2 rbis and 3 runs scored, Mackenzie Perez added a double with 2 rbis and 2 runs scored, Parker added a hit while scoring twice, Laynee Garren had a hit with a run scored, Reese Koester scored 3 times, while Abby Draper scored twice and Liv Sipe had a run scored.
