The Franklin Park Bobcats dropped to 0-5 with a 10-1 road loss at Effingham. Landon Maxey pitched well in the start on the mound. Trey Clark and Brody Collier worked in relief. The Selmaville Rockets JV dropped their baseball game to Central City 14-6. Leading the Rockets offense with RBI were Brendan Smith, Logan Butts, Drew Consolino, Tripp Garden, Kai Graham and Riley Tate.
Patoka/Odin got a five-inning, no-hitter from Drew Haines as they defeated Iuka 15-0. Ben Spencer went 3-3 with a double and drove in 2 runs for the Mohawks. Kody Burkes went 3-3 with 3 RBI. Brady Cain, Drew Haines, Brady Haines and Hunter Janicki all added RBI.
