Salem’s Riley Martin worked his 2nd professional outing for the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, the Advanced A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs. Martin worked 1.2 innings Saturday of one-hit, shutout ball. He struck out 2 and didn’t walk anyone in the Pelicans 5-4 loss to the Fayetteville Woodpeckers.
