Bo was a 32nd Degree Mason. He was a former member of the Jonesboro Fire Department and retired from the Illinois Department of Corrections in Centralia. He enjoyed tinkering and collecting John Deere and construction toys.
Funeral arrangements for Bo Boshera will be held on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. A Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 24, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. till the time of the service at 7:00 p.m. Due to the recent CDC guidelines, those who attend the visitation or service wear facemasks and attempt to social distance while in the facility. Bo was born September 22, 1951, in Anna, the son of Norman Boshera and Phyllis (Farris) Boshera. He married Glenda Ross on September 21, 1973, in Coben, IL.
In addition to his wife Glenda of 47 years, he is survived by one son: Ross Boshera and Jazzmen of Centralia; two grandchildren: Brynlee and Ledah Boshera; three brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.
Bo was preceded in death by parents: Norman and Phyllis Boshera and his father and mother-in-law: Harold “Duck” and Lois Ross.
