Martin William Michael, 92, of Centralia passed away Thursday, August 19, 2021, at his home. Martin was a loyal employee of Illinois Bell for over 40 years and was proud to have been able to offer his assistance to the company for so many years. He liked to tinker in his garage and enjoyed the fun of traveling to different destinations. Martin was a civilian pilot of his Cessna plane and liked to take others for rides. He remained active, continuing to ride his bicycle throughout his neighborhood into his 80’s. Known as “Bumpa” to his grandchildren, he was always supportive to his family. Martin’s example of working hard and sharing his life experiences with his family will be carried on in all he knew and loved.
