Kaskaskia College is proud to announce the 2020-21 NJCAA Academic All-American Individuals and All-Academic Teams were baseball, women’s cross country, softball, women’s soccer, volleyball and women’s tennis.
These individual players were named to the First Team for having a 4.0 GPA: baseball players Noah Crocker (Carlyle), Mitch Hardiek (Teutopolis), Dalton Hoel (Tuscola); volleyball players Jacqueline Grimes (Centralia) and Baylee Richer (Breese); softball players Kayla Guetersloh (Carlyle), Chase Wise (Beckemeyer) and Mayci Wilderman (Brighton); cross country runner Macie Hargis (Centralia); tennis player Diana Mossman (Teutopolis); volleyball and softball player Brooklyn Smith (Carlyle), and men’s basketball player Jalen Williams (Jackson, MO).
Athletes named to the Second Team for achieving a GPA of 3.8-3.99 include baseball player Hunter Bilek (Millersville, MO); cross country runners Abby Bloemer (Teutopolis) and Andrew Stevenson (Breese); volleyball players Taylor Cox (Westville), Gabrielle Jamruk (Breese), and Taylor Powell (Lovington); softball player Rylee Langendorf (Hamel); and women’s basketball player Kamryn Pieron (Carlyle).
Students who were named to the Third Team for achieving a GPA of 3.6-379 are soccer players Maci Bohannon (Jerseyville) and Grace Hakman (Effingham); tennis player Bradley Cagle (Herrin); softball players Jaidyn Ackerman (Greenville), Megan Cook (Okawville), Taylor Friederich (Mascoutah) and Shelby Houchlei (Hillsboro); volleyball and soccer player Alyssa Hutton (Centralia); basketball player Preston Johannes (Centralia); volleyball and softball player Josie Meinhart (Newton); volleyball player Claire Toennies (New Baden); and baseball players Logan Doll (Greenville) and Jonathan Barnes (Greenville).
