A 35-year-old Mt. Vernon man was involved in a single-vehicle crash on U.S. 50 at Banister Road east of Salem Monday afternoon.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say Benjamin Landsman of Magnolia Avenue in Mt. Vernon was traveling westbound when he ran off the north side of the road, struck a road sign, went through a ditch, and overturned. His car came to rest on its side in the yard of a home in the 6100 block of U.S. 50.
Landsman was treated on the scene but declined hospital treatment.
The crash occurred at 1:54 Monday afternoon.
