Two people were brought to the Marion County Jail on Tuesday on outstanding failure to appear traffic warrants. 50-year-old Jason Kubuster of North Elm in Centralia and 37-year-old Nicolas Sublett of South Sycamore in Centralia both were released after posting $250 bond apiece.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the theft of money from a wallet left on a ride at the Marion County Fairgrounds Tuesday night.
While the wallet was recovered, several hundred dollars in cash was missing.
