Two were formally charged with new felony offenses in Marion County Court on Thursday.
21-year-old Elexis Louvier-Gibson of North Gragg in Centralia was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance for allegedly having less than 15 grams of fentanyl in her possession. The public defender was appointed to represent her. Louvier-Gibson was released on $10,000 personal recognizance bond. A preliminary hearing is set for September 1st.
A 38-year-old Sandoval man has been charged with two felony counts of unlawful violation of an order of protection. Gerald Murphy is accused of going within 500 feet of a protected home on two days in July. Bond was set at $10,000. The public defender was appointed to represent him. If released on bond, Murphy was ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim or her residence. A preliminary hearing is set for August 19th.
