The Director of the Illinois Department of Public Health has some advice for those recently diagnosed with Covid-19.
Doctor Ngozi Ezike says there is a treatment available to ease the effects of the virus.
“Moniclonal Antibody Treatments have been shown to reduce the severity of the disease. This is something after you are diagnosed. Talk to your healthcare provider about the treatment.”
Ezike urges those who are not vaccinated and who have been in a large group or are showing symptoms to get tested right away.
