Centralia’s Interim City Manager Forest Langenfeld has set his last day on the job for Tuesday.
The Centralia City Council Monday night will be asked to designate an administrative officer to perform duties of the city manager beginning Wednesday.
Centralia City Clerk Kim Enke says there are still five finalists to become Centralia’s new city manager. She reports the city council is still collecting information on the finalists before making a decision.
Mayor Bryan Kuder had hoped to have a new city manager in place before Langenfeld left the position.
