Centralia Police have arrested a 22-year-old man who fled on his bicycle when they attempted to stop him Wednesday morning.
Police say Rayveion Crusby-Daniels matched the description of a person seen trying to break into a car in the 500 block of Christy. He eventually entered a gated area of Centralia Junior High and later came back out before being apprehended in the backyard of a home on Calumet Street.
Crusby-Daniels was arrested for alleged obstructing justice, resisting arrest, and criminal trespass to land. The obstructing justice charge was for allegedly giving police a false name. They learned his real name when the FBI fingerprint database gave police his true identity. The resisting arrest charge was for allegedly fleeing police. The criminal trespass charge was for allegedly entering the gated area of Centralia Junior High School.
Police are still trying to determine if any vehicles were entered. They report Crusby-Daniels was in possession of both loose change and currency at the time he was taken into custody.
