Centralia Police arrested a 37-year-old Centralia man when breaking a burglary in progress early Tuesday morning.
Police Chief Greg Dodson says Joshua Boyce of Condit Street was found hiding in the building used for storage in the 300 block of Shawnee after receiving a tip from a witness of a man going inside.
Boyce was arrested for the burglary, another burglary that occurred at the same building about a week ago, and criminal trespass. After his arrest, police added charges of possession of under five grams of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia when finding those items in Boyce’s possession.
Dodson says Boyce was linked to the earlier burglary because he allegedly had items taken from the first break-in in his possession.
