A 34-year-old rural Kell man has been arrested by Salem Police for the burglary and criminal damage to the Coaches Corner on West Main Street last month.
Salem Police say video from the damaged video gambling machines allegedly pointed to Beau Morton of Morton Road as the one who allegedly entered through the roof of the building, damaged a machine and cash counter, and left with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police say posters were also taken off the walls and thrown into the trash and liquor had been stacked beside the back door as if someone had planned to come back for it.
Police believe Morton acted alone in the burglary.
He was arrested while at another video gaming business late Friday afternoon.
