The response has been so good, the large rummage sale inside the former Farm Fresh building on East Main Street in Salem to benefit the Little Egypt Festival has been extended from a one day event to two.

General Chair Jay Henke is very thankful to the community for helping out.

“The interior of that building is floor to ceiling with wonderful donations and some very nice stuff.  We even have stuff out on the front sidewalk that we really just can’t fit in the building we have so much stuff.  We need it all to go so everything is going to be priced really cheap.  We have some really nice clothes, some with labels still on them.”

Due to the amount of items, Friday sale hours have been added from eight am to six pm. Saturday will now be bag day, where you can buy as many clothing items that will fit inside a bag for $5.

All the proceeds will go towards expenses to put on the 50th Annual Little Egypt Festival that will be held the first Saturday in October.
