The Centralia City Council Monday night unanimously approved three new Class “A” liquor licenses.
Two of the licenses will go to new businesses, Lucky Larry’s Slots at 1333 West Broadway and Lady T’s Gaming at 435 South Elm.
The third license would convert Midtown Liquors and Tobacco at 617 West Broadway from a Class “C” package license to a full Class “A” license.
There was no opposition to Mayor Bryan Kuder’s request for the additional license. The past city council had tried to avoid issuing licenses for businesses that would be heavily reliant on video gaming.
