The Little Egypt Festival is hosting a fund raising yard sale inside the former Farm Fresh building on East Main Street in Salem this Saturday.
Festival General Chair Jay Henke says they need help from the community to make the event successful.
“Accepting donations through the week to help us raise money for the Little Egypt Festival this year. There will be somebody at the building from 1-6pm everyday if you want to donate anything. Let us know if you want it back and we can make arrangements to get it to you and if not we can donate it to somebody.”
Henke says if you can’t make it up between 1 and 6, send a Facebook message on their page to arrange pickup.
The yard sale will run from eight to two on Saturday.
Henke says the sale will help raise funds for costs incurred each year to run the festival. This is the 50th anniversary year for the festival.
