The Centralia City Council Monday night will consider the addition of three new Class “A” liquor licenses, bringing the total to 26 Class “A” licenses in the city.

Mayor Bryan Kuder says two of the licenses would go to new businesses, Lucky Larry’s Slots at 1333 West Broadway and Lady T’s Gaming at 435 South Elm. The third license would be for the conversion of the existing Class C license to a Class A license for Midtown Liquors and Tobacco at 617 West Broadway. The
applications have all been completed and reviewed by the city attorney.

The city staff is not making a recommendation. The prior city council had tried to stop issuing liquor licenses for businesses that would basically by video gaming establishments.

The council meeting will begin at six Monday night at Centralia City Hall. You can attend in person or via Zoom meeting.
