What will school look like next year for K-12 students? Districts are waiting to hear what the State Board of Education will suggest when it comes to COVID protocols. Governor JB Pritzker says his administration is working now to formulate guidance for the upcoming year.
“What I can tell you is in discussion with CDC. The CDC said they will be putting out guidance that will be helpful for schools all across the nation. So we are going to make sure we are listening to that guidance. We also have our own opinions on it, but we want to make sure we are working with the best experts in the country.”
Pritzker says he wants every child in Illinois in a classroom for the new school year.
