A new group is starting a new free family-oriented program in Centralia this Wednesday night.
Parenting with a Purpose plans to hold Picnic in the Park the next four Wednesdays at Pavilion #10 in Fairview Park. The effort is led by churches in the Centralia area.
The picnics are scheduled from 4:30 to six and will include organized games for kids and a mini-meal of hotdog, and chips, and drink.
Organizers hope this will be a great chance to meet new friends and enjoy visiting with parents. They hope this will be seen as an activity to do with your family that is already planned.
