Centralia Fire Chief Blake Perez says an investigation by the State Fire Marshal’s office will lead to an arrest for the fire on Tuesday at the Library Apartments in Centralia.
The 18-year-old female who was the former occupant of the apartment was located early Thursday morning when Centralia Police received a call as she was trying to gain access to a residence where she was not wanted. She was later taken to a hospital for treatment delaying her actual arrest.
Centralia City Firemen say the fire had been set in a couch and trash. It was confined to the one unit with just minor fire and some smoke damage. The fire was quickly knocked down.
