A 28-year-old Centralia man was formally charged in Marion County Court on Monday with unlawful delivery of a controlled substance.

Duan Brown of Martin Luther King Drive is accused in the charge of delivering under a gram of heroin on June 10th.   Brown was taken into custody by Centralia Police when they executed a search warrant on his home last Friday with the FBI drug task force.

The bond on the warrant is set at $10,000.   If released on bond, Brown was ordered to abstain from drugs with random testing.   The public defender was appointed to represent him.

A preliminary hearing was set for July 6th.
