A mobile home was destroyed by fire Saturday morning in Kinmundy.
Kinmundy-Alma Fire Chief Kevin Day says Ron Pauley of 410 West Third was sleeping in a bedroom when he woke up to find the window air conditioner in the living room in flames. He was able to escape through the living room as the fire began to spread. Pauley received some singed hair on his head but did not require hospital treatment.
Day says when the fire department arrived the fire had spread throughout the home and there was nothing that could be done to save it.
Pauley lost all of his possession in the fire.
The fire call came in at 7:30 Saturday morning. Firemen were on the scene for about two hours.
