A 54-year-old Central City man is in custody after Centralia Police arrested him in the process of breaking into Johannes Construction on the 1200 block of Hester Street.

Centralia Police report they received a call at 12:55 Wednesday afternoon of a man who had thrown a rock through a window at the business and gone inside. With the doors locked, the responding officer entered through the broken window.

Thompson was taken into custody without incident.

He told police he was “high on meth”.
