A 33-year-old Central City woman was taken to the Marion County Jail by Central City Police on Saturday for felony criminal trespass to property. Police say Samantha Morris of East Marvin returned to her parent’s home after being earlier trespassed and warned to stay away from the home.
Salem Police arrested 45-year-old Michael Askew of West Warmoth in Salem for domestic battery after he was seen outside a home in the 1200 block of West Spruce on Saturday. Askew was a person of interest in an alleged domestic battery that had occurred on Friday.
38-year-old Clifford Stroup of Hamilton Street in Salem turned himself in on an outstanding Marion County felony failure to appear warrant and was released after posting a $500 bond.
