Both drivers were injured in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 45 near Wayne County Road 2000N.
State Police say preliminary investigative details indicate that an SUV driven by 25-year-old Adam Kemplen of Fairfield ran into the rear of an SUV stopped in traffic in front of him driven by 22-year-old Madison Wilson of Cisne.
Both drivers were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Kemplen was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash and failure to wear a seatbelt.
The crash occurred at 3:52 Friday afternoon.
