A 56-year-old Salem man was injured in a Wednesday afternoon bicycle crash that occurred in the 400 block of East Main Street.
Salem Police were called to the home of Michael Tomshack on South Maple Street after he reported he was bleeding. He reportedly received two puncture wounds to the lower abdomen that are believed to have come from the crash. Tomshack was apparently able to make his way home from where the wreck
occurred before calling for help.
Tomshack was transferred by United Medical Response to Salem Township Hospital for treatment.
