The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the robbery of a Kinmundy woman on her property.
Initial information indicates the woman was carrying a back pack that was grabbed from her hands. The back pack reportedly contained her purse, $936 in cash, along with her checkbook, wallet and other items.
While the incident occurred on May 17th, it was not reported until Monday when she told deputies someone had started using checks on her account.
